Firearms Refresher Course
I received this “Firearms Refresher Course” in email today, with a request to pass it on to ten free citizens. I’m not sure there are any free citizens left in this once great nation, but here’s the document.

FIREARMS REFRESHER COURSE
- An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
- A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.
- Colt: The original point and click interface.
- Gun control is not about guns; it’s about control.
- If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?
- If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.
- Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.
- If you don’t know your rights, you don’t have any.

- What part of ’shall not be infringed’ do you not understand?
- The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.
- 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.
- Guns only have two enemies; rust and politicians.
- Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.
- You don’t shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.
- 911: Government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.
- Assault is a behavior, not a device.
- Criminals love gun control; it makes their jobs safer.

- Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.

Great list. Copied and printed. Nice common-sense summary of how this whole gun control argument is pointless. And really, who gives a hoot? We’re Americans; we do what we bloody well want to.
I’m a military brat. Veteran. Raised with guns. Never had to use one, except for hunting food, thank God.
As a civilian, it has always been nice to know I and my fellow citizens have at least same RIGHT and OBLIGATION to defend our community as we had on military bases and posts. Then, as now, I assume my neighbor is probably as well armed as I am.
We sleep well in America mainly for that reason. And of course, we have a great police force, a transparent Judicial system, a strong National Guard and 1.5 million uniformed military.
When I holler “Help!”, though, I’d like someone with a gun to hear me.

#25 The American revolution happened BECAUSE of gun control. The bloody wankers went to seize the guns at Lexington. The patriots said ‘yeah right’.

This is very good stuff, as it comes from a serious website from people with first hand experience. I feel very safe having a loaded double-barrel lying next to me when I sleep, because I know I have the right to protect myself and family with lethal force if necessary.

This is a good website. It puts it out in the open without getting preachy. (Is that a word?) I keep my Mossberg 12 gauge Cruiser beside the bed and a S/W 40cal under the pillow. The situation we have in our cities today require us to be able to protect ourselves and our familys
